Happy Women's Day from United Letters, with Love
Happy International Women’s Day everyone! Today, I wanted to share some amazing news with you and also celebrate one woman in my life who has inspired me in so many ways, my friend, author and now boss(!) Johanna Lehmann. That’s right, after a long stint of having 2 kids and trying to find myself after winding down my first 'baby' - the fashion business that I ran for 9 years - I’m back in the workforce, as the new Creative Chief Officer for www.United-Letters.com. But don’t worry, it’s hardly back to the grind…Johanna has given me the opportunity to do something that feels like giving back to the universe in some positive way, and that makes me so incredibly grateful.
With United Letters, Johanna has singlehandedly created a beautiful company that values sustainability and creates personalised children’s books to inspire confidence and help teach concepts that will allow kids to conquer their future. Her first title, Tree of Life, is wildly imaginative and places the child front and centre as the main character while encouraging tenacity, spirit and self-possession.

We are now working on our next title, which is very dear to me, as it directly addresses a cause that I believe is critical for both of my children’s futures : Ocean preservation. This subject is not an easy one to approach, however, we must, in order to further awareness and inform our kids about the need to not only consider but to also take daily action to help preserve the world’s oceans. In doing so, we hope that our first book together will spark a sense of consciousness in children with the knowledge that each and every one of them has the ability to make an impact on protecting the ocean and in turn, the Earth. Education and knowledge starts from an early stage and I, for one, whole-heartedly believe my sons can make a difference!
The personalised story will take the child into the depths of the ocean where he will encounter wondrous creatures, new and exciting environments and adventure. I will be hand painting each page and hope that you will share in my ongoing journey to make this beautiful story come to life. We are hoping to launch this book for World’s Oceans Day, so please stay tuned for more updates and send all the coffee vibes over my way!
